Mailing Evidence Checklist
- Place your evidence in bubble wrap or appropriate
packaging.
- If the evidence you are sending will be used in a court of
law you should send it in a Chain of Custody
envelope.
- Please sign and date the following items,Chain of Custody
envelope and the
agreement/contract which can be downloaded from our
site.
- Include all paperwork pertaining to the case or any
information that you feel would help us in our analysis.
- Include your instructions and outline exactly what you want
CFS to do with your evidence.
- Include your retainer check with
the evidence. If you want this to receive expedite status you
should send a Certified Bank Check or U.S. Postal Money Order.
Personal checks or any other type of money order etc, will have a
clearing period of 5 days before ANY work will begin.
- If access to the original recording device the evidence was
recorded with is possible it is highly recommended that you send
the device with the tape or media.
- We recommend overnight priority either with FedEx or
UPS.
CFS Will not be held responsible for any damage or
loss incurred by the shipper or any shipping agency.
If any evidence arrives in a damaged state we will immediately
notify the client and the shipping agency involved.
